Cheatham Farmers Marketing Group is a group of Farmers from Davidson, Dickson, Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson counties in north middle Tennessee. This is a membership group to help farmers better market their product in this local region. We offer a online farmers market, a members farmers market and a social network site so farmers can network with other farmers to make bulk material purchases, bulk sales, labor exchange and bartering. The membership is also open to Buyers and Sellers of produce, Garden Club Members, Educators, Material Suppliers that support local agricultural activities. As a group we are also engaged in community outreach in educating the public on what it means to "buy local". Our farmers will be setting up on the corner of hwy 49 and hwy 41 next to the Tennessee Mortgage, The Market will open at 8 and close 12 noon. The Summer season market will open late May. Date and times has not been established. Steve Nagy of Nature's Promise Farm was the first place winner of the best tasting tomato. Steve entered the "Early Girl" type. He has been a market member since our opening and offers organic grown foods.
